DR. ASHER SMITH .

| Dr.
Smith specializes in Hand, Wrist, and Elbow Surgery and holds a
subspecialty certification in Surgery of the Hand from the American
Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Smith has served as a Hand Surgeon in
the United States Navy on active duty for the past eight years. During
his time in the Navy, he deployed during Operation Enduring Freedom,
caring for our Soldiers and Marines in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He has
also served on Navy humanitarian service missions to the Caribbean and
South America. Prior to completing his Hand and Upper Extremity
Fellowship at Duke University, Dr. Smith completed his residency here
at the University of Toledo Medical Center, receiving a portion of his
training from his current senior partners. Dr. Smith is originally from
Indiana and pleased to be back in Toledo near his parents. Dr. Smith
has a wife and five children. When not working or spending time with
his family, Dr. Smith enjoys running and outdoor activities. |
